Orthodontic treatment is prescribed to correct a number of common problems. Many people may need orthodontic treatment to correct an “unsatisfactory bite” that has been caused by crowding teeth or extra teeth. Other people may need treatment to realign a jaw that is out of place due to genetics or to an accident. Many people want to correct one or more crooked teeth caused by thumb-sucking, premature, late loss of baby teeth, or a wide variety of other causes.

Many different types of Orthodontic treatment require brackets to be bonded to your teeth and a wire running from tooth to tooth. At our office, we also provide patients with the option of Invisalign®. Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made for you and are virtually invisible while fitting snugly over your teeth.

Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically or rotating them if needed. With each change to the next set of aligners, your teeth gradually move into position, following a custom treatment plan mapped out by one of our doctors.
