Our Doctors

Dr. Nick Bakkum graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor in 2003. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife, Emily, returned to the area after his graduation from the U of M in 2008.

Dr. Bakkum is an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Dakota Dental Association. He volunteers his time with the Red River Valley Dental Access Project, providing free dental care to patients who otherwise could not afford it.

 

Dr. Bakkum is experienced in many aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and has experience in both private dental practice and public health practice. He enjoys learning about what's new and practical in dentistry today and keeping track of what is on the horizon for the future. Dr. Bakkum values his strong relationships with other dental specialists in the area in order to provide seamless care for each individual patient depending on their specific needs.

 

Dr. Bakkum and his wife keep busy raising two active kids. They enjoy spending time at the lake and attending local sporting events, concerts and productions. Dr. Bakkum appreciates the occasional round of golf and is a proud supporter of NDSU Bison athletics and academics.

Dr. Bryan Seeley

Dr. Bryan Seeley earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Jamestown College. He continued his education at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE, where he earned his D.D.S.

 

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, North Dakota Dental Association, Southeast District Dental Society and other dental organizations. He is also very active with the Red River Valley Dental Access Project, which provides an urgent care walk-in clinic for dental pain relief to low-income patients. He volunteers at the clinic and currently serves as the president of the Board of Directors. 

 

Dr. Seeley started with Elmwood Family Dentistry in 2004. As a second-generation dentist, he is very passionate about dentistry and is committed to providing the best care to his patients in a friendly and comfortable environment. He continues to take advanced dental education courses and keeps current on the latest dental technology. 

 

Dr. Seeley and his wife Traci enjoy raising their three children in North Dakota, which has been home to them all their lives. He is a hockey enthusiast who spends his winter months cheering on UND and following his children from rink to rink. He also enjoys time with friends and family and doing almost anything outdoors.
